Who are we?

The Korean Adoptee Family Foundation (KORAFF) is a committed non-profit organization that has enriched the lives of hundreds of adoptive children and their families by promoting cultural awareness, offering vital resources, and cultivating meaningful connections across communities in both Korea and the United States.

What do we do?

KORAFF works hand-in-hand with local and international partners to bridge cultural divides and meet the developmental needs of adopted children and their families. By fostering understanding, nurturing connections, and promoting growth within diverse communities, we strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment. Here’s how we turn this vision into reality...

Adoption Support

We are here to guide and support adoptive parents and their children. From navigating the adoption process to revisiting the birthland, we draw on years of experience aiding Korean adoptees and their parents.

Cultural Community

KORAFF is a community of parents, adoptees, mentors, and volunteers. We plan and sponsor events, trips, and gatherings with a goal to strengthen families through participation in a cultural community.

Our Mission

Our mission is to support internationally adopted children in discovering and embracing their identities through enriching educational programs rooted in their birth cultures. We are committed to gathering, sharing, and providing valuable information and resources to empower and strengthen adoptive families, fostering their growth and well-being.

How we do it

KORAFF supports Korean adoptees of all ages—children, teens, and adults—in exploring and embracing their identities through enriching educational programs offered both in the U.S. and Korea. We strive to create a warm, inclusive, and engaging environment where adoptees and their families can connect, share experiences, and grow together. Through our efforts, we provide a strong sense of community, foster meaningful mentorship opportunities, and offer scholarships to empower and inspire those we serve
